Tree Stands:
All tree stands were to be removed by approximately March 1st. If you haven’t removed yours yet, please do so as soon as possible.
Littering:
There have been reports of littering. The fine for littering is $100. Please put all of your trash in the dumpsters or trash cans.
Work Credit Opportunities:.
All work credit must be completed no later than November 1st to be counted for the next year’s discount. Work credit completed after the October work day will be carried over to the next year. The spring work days are Sunday, May 7th and May 21st 8am – 1pm. You must work 2 work days, or a total of 10 hours to get your work credit. Please sign in on the work day sign-in sheet in the clubhouse when you arrive on a work day. Work credit cards will be available at the clubhouse on work days. If you cannot attend a work day, contact Greg Thompson or Mike Tarleton for alternate work credit opportunities.
Hog Roast – June 10th:
Registration for the Kids fishing derby will be at the Mallard Pavilion at 8am. The Board/Membership meeting will be at the Clubhouse at 10am. The hog roast begins promptly at noon. Remember to bring your own table service (plates and silverware) and a dish to share. We will gladly accept donated items for the raffle. Bring your donated items the day of the hog roast, or give them to any board member prior to that day.
Please do what you can to help raise funds by selling your hog roast raffle tickets, which you received in December. Send the completed stubs and money to: Hook & Bullet, PO Box 91, Galva, IL 61434 or bring them the day of the hog roast. If you need more tickets, contact any board member. Proceeds from the sale of these tickets helps to keep your annual dues affordable.
Fireworks:
The fireworks will be at dusk the day of the hog roast (rain date will be the following Saturday.) The gate will not be left open before or during the fireworks. If you have guests, you will have to let them in the gate.
Guests:
Only immediate family members whose primary residence is the same home as the club member are allowed full membership privileges of the club facilities. Each member in good standing shall have the privilege of inviting guests to the club. When a club member brings a guest in to hunt or fish on club grounds, the guest’s catch is to be counted as part of the membership limit, not as another separate unit. Guests shall only be a guest a total of three (3) times per year regardless of the member they accompany. The member must accompany their guests at all times. Loaning a key to a guest will result in immediate expulsion from the club and a $400 fine.
Boat Ramps:
Please be courteous to other members and move your vehicle and boat trailer off the boat ramp after you load your boat into the lake, so others can use the ramp.
Camping:
If your camper does not have a current license sticker or you are not using it, you cannot store it on club grounds. You must always sign in when camping. The camper sign-in book is in the sign-in shed.
The club is not responsible for stolen or damaged property. The board recommends taking home any valuable items, including your camper, if possible. The board also strongly discourages allowing unsupervised children on the club grounds. If you still have a child living at home, know when they are at the club and know what they are doing. Their actions could jeopardize your membership.
Dues:
Your club dues of $175 or $65 with 10 hours of work credit for 2023 must be received no later than November 1, 2023. All members not having their dues paid by November 1 shall be considered as delinquent. December 1 shall be the last date to pay dues. All members not paying dues by this date shall be dropped and fined $100.00 plus dues. These fines will be deducted from the original membership payment and the remainder returned to them upon receipt of keys.
